Youth Development
The AYM builds on common grounds of Faith, Values, and Brotherhood with applications in Youth, Family, and Community development.
Our objective is to build a Nation that takes a middle course in all aspects of life; neither to extreme right nor to extreme left. A Nation that is balanced in its emotion, vision, character, and actions. We strive to create a Nation that is amongst the best nations raised to mankind.
Next Generation Stewardship Development (NGSD)
The high level measures of civilization are the aggregate metrics of character and leadership skills. One of the pillars of the AYM organization is,
“Perfection in character, for individuals and society, is the foundation on which civilization is built.”
Our objective is to raise the average level nation wide 1% annually, on average, from a baseline value TBD, over the next 50 years. To bring this value about, we are initiating the Next Generation Stewardship Development (NGSD) project to augment the existing youth development programs already established in the nation. NGSD spans three parts:
-
Scope: A program to complement existing youth character and leadership training by providing 1) Innate qualities and characters of role model leaders, 2) Scenarios of challenges on the path of leadership and tools for overcoming them, 3) Broader understanding of stewardship in life by emphasizing common values within our diverse society, integrating and shaping capabilities while preserving groups’ identities and respecting convictions, 4) Packaging tools for personal development and community contribution, 5) Providing role-model adult mentorship.
Age: Males and females 16 years and up.
-
Scope: An educational program on the building blocks of stable and loving families. Through setting realistic expectations, understanding challenges and learning tools to resolve issues, youth acquire skills on how to grow compassionate and harmonious families.
Age: Males and females 16 years and up—to engaged, newly-wed and married couples.
-
Scope: A program to provide youth with the proper understanding of parenting challenges, as well as required character, skills and tools for conflict resolution and how to create a peaceful and healthy home environment for raising children.
Age: Males and females 18 years and up—to be married or already married couples with children or planning to have.
Upon completion of each phase, the NGSD program awards the following certificates to participants: Community Catalyst, Community Builder, Stewardship, and Stewardship Trainer.
